Customer Complaint Handling Awards 2018
Awards International UK manage a number of Industry Awards including the UK Complaint Handling Awards and UK Employee Experience Awards.
I was bought in by the client 6 weeks before its delivery to take the operational lead of this event. Working alongside all key stakeholders, my role was to ensure that the delivery of every aspect of the Judges morning and Awards Ceremony were delivered on time and to a high standard.
The client wanted to produce an event that provided the perfect environment for presentations to be made, judging to take place and for all to enjoy a first-class Awards Lunch and Ceremony. The key objectives set out in the event brief that needed to be met were:

The event was held at the Park Plaza Hotel, Riverbank in London. Situated over three floors, the event comprised of 14 Judges Rooms which all had a packed morning schedule and the Ballroom playing host to the Drinks Reception, Lunch and Awards Ceremony in the afternoon.
Guests were looked after throughout the day with plenty of refreshments, champagne and a three-course lunch with wine. The Awards host then led the announcements to those who won their category.
The event was a huge success. Feedback from Judges and Finalists alike was very positive with many wishing to participate in next year’s Awards. All the event objectives were met and above all the client was very pleased with its delivery and the impact it had.
